Internet Affiliate Programs Based on Bartering

It has been said many times that some of the best things in life are free. The past four days have been a bit of a nightmare for this author. Her computer is set to receive automatic updates and two of the updates had a disagreement and I lost. The computer has been out of action now for four days and I have felt like a seriously deprived child. Am I addicted to the internet? Most likely.

One of my major internet addictions are affiliate programs. But after all the kerfuffle I have had to go through lately only to find precisely what I wanted and to find it was free, I find quite amazing and I'm very grateful. It seems that there are a bunch of internet programers out there in cyberspace who have grouped together to produce open source programs available to all who need them. The only thing they ask is either a donation or a link back to their site. Which I'm more than happy to do because it will be a very useful link for all my visitors and anyone who wants a gold standard product for a coupon price.

But more than that and as grateful as I am, it got me thinking. It's actually a very clever way of marketing. In the old days they may have called it bartering but everyone wins and providing the majority of people are honorable, it will work amazingly well. At least I hope so because I believe these people deserve it.

The Highest Paying Affiliate Programs

There are literally thousands of affiliate programs out on the internet begging for affiliates to come along and pick them up and run with them.

Clickbank is one of the most popular sites for affiliate programs but they are far from the only ones and all the products listed do not necessarily offer a high commission rate. When choosing a clickbank product to market there are numerous things that you need to be aware of but they have been covered in another article. This article is to alert you to more possibilities of affiliate products than just clickbank which is a product on its own.

If you have found a product that you use daily and find very useful, check to see if they offer an affiliate programme because many of them do. Sometimes these affiliate programs are privately run by the product vendors and don't go through clickbank to manage their affiliates but have decided to do it themselves.

This can be both good and bad. From the vendors point of view it is considerably more work and they have to deal with refunds and payments etc. There are some excellent products for affiliate managers now on the market and in use.

From an affiliates point of view you will need to do some more homework and check the vendor out on Google to see what, if anything, has been commented on about their reputation or to see if there are any outstanding problems with their affiliate program. Google is a wonderful friend for checking out a lot of miscellaneous information but you have to re-check everything because it's also too easy for half wits to publish untrue comments that hurt a person's reputation.

This is where it pays to be an active member of a forum where you yourself have established an honest reputation and you know you are most likely to get an honest answer.

The highest paying affiliate program is not always the best. I suggest you do your homework carefully before outlaying any hard earned money on PPC campaigns or wasting your time doing SEO on web pages from which you may never have a chance to recover a return from your investment.

Highest Paying Affiliate Programs

The highest paying affiliate programs are often those that aren't found on clickbank or CJ or paydot.com but rather on individual products who require an invitation to join. Then these programs are often administered through clickbank which is a very satisfactory arrangement both for the affiliate marketer and for the vendor.

One such program is PPCWebspy run by Brad Callen. Now Brad Callen also has a forum that is very frequently visited by the SE bots. I have personally seen them there on 4 seperate occassions and today there were 4 SE bots in there with me this morning as per the screen shot below.

I apologise for the small photograph size but if you would like to see a full size one then contact me at jantorq@gmail.com and I will happily send you a full size attachment.

Where I'm going with this is to remind you that part of your marketing agenda has to include some forum posts and the best ones to visit are those that have frequent visits by the SE bots. Make sense?

Blogging is another way of attracting the SE bots quickly so that also needs to be a part of your marketing mix.

But if you are after the highest paying affiliate programs then you will often have to purchase a very good product and wait to be invited to join their affiliate program. Often though the vendor realises that because you've already bought the program you will actually use it and apply it so they will offer you an affiliate scheme right from the get-go.

If you've seen the value in the programe enough to purchase it chances are high that others will to.

That is my advice on finding the highest paying affiliate programs.  And don't forget to use PPCWebspy before starting any PPC campaign because there's no need to reinvent the wheel...or find out for yourself hundereds of dollars later that that keyword didn't work. Save your pennies and the dollars will find you!
