Extreme Niches Empire

If you have been working online for any length of time, you will no doubt have a shelf or two full of BSO's (Bright Shiny Objects) sold to you by BS artists. If you haven't then you will definitely be in the minority. Most people looking to make an income off the internet as Internet marketers have bought product after product all promising to show you how to make either a livable income or gadzillions of dollars.

One of the other problems has been affiliate marketers who aren't competent but follow some other incompetent affiliate marketer who is "telling them" what to do before they themselves have done it consistently.

The other problem with so many of the things that were promised to work for us in the past is just that...the past....by the time they are sold to us, their efficacy is already on the wan. Otherwise, if the method/system/strategy worked as well as promised, why would they be selling it to us? Especially if the product was going to make us a few thousand dollars and they were selling it to us for $17.  Doesn't quite add up, does it?

What has been needed is a real teacher. Someone who walks the walk. Not the Michael Jackson "moon walk" but two feet on the ground type of walk; like the rest of us Humans do.

If you are seeking an Education package for IM'ers based on modules of  higher learning than just grabbing a quick dollar from some other unsuspecting newbie, then this is the course for you. If you don't want to work or aren't prepared to learn, then save your money and look for the next BSO that is coming along.

But if you want a real business for the real world where you have to pay Taxes and outsourcing staff, and you don't mind learning how and doing the work to actually achieve it, then you have finally found what the majority of us have been looking for...a real teacher teaching us how to do everything that is needed to establish and grow a real internet marketing business.

Welcome to Extreme Niche Empires

I have bought and been a student of Sean Donahoe now for the past 6months. I have bought back link booster (a terrific product) membership to the Manic Marketer "Ask Sean" weekly webinars which is turning into the InnerCircleSuccessCentre (yet to be officially launched) and with this Sean has established a Skype chat room for inner circle success centre members. The real value of this alone is worth many hundred's of dollars a month.  I also have VideoMarketingGoldmine which I thought was the pinnacle of learning but Extreme Niche Empires even tops that. Am I making any money yet? Yes, not anything to 'write home about' but it is growing every week...just as Sean said it would. And I haven't even implemented Extreme Niche Empire yet. The growth above comes from all that I have learned from BLB, VMG and the Inner Circle Success Group

I received a beta copy last Saturday of Extreme Niche Empires as part of the inner circle group.

So far, I am only up to Video 5 (hey, fair go...there's 16 hours plus of pure learning in there! And I am implementing each video module as I progress through the course)

It's not only all the new information that I am learning but I am undoing all the wrong stuff I learned from others. Stuff that I implemented that was simply wrong. Or out of date.

If you want to learn cutting edge IM procedures and systems that will stay up on the Internet for many years regardless of Google's many hiccups, then here is your invitation:

Website Design

Over the past 5 years that I have been working online, web site design and functionality has changed enormously. Check this video out:

When I first contemplated working online I had to learn Dreamweaver or Frontpage. XSitePro or blogs hadn't been invented then! Now, dreamweaver is best left to the geeks among us, Frontpage has gone off somewhere and sulked because it is hardly (if ever) used and XSitePro has become the program of choice for those who absolutely must have a static website...and there is often need for one of these.

The website building tool of choice today is definitely Wordpress blogs. There are of course others like Joomla, Drupal etc...but far and away, wordpress is the king of website tools because you can do so much with it design-wise.

As an affiliate marketer, you will need to know both a WYSIWYG static html platform and a blogging platform.

Finding the Right Mentor

Sometimes it takes a long time with a lot of mis-starts to find the right mentor. A mentor is someone very special and not every would-be guru can be described as a good mentor.
Z9PBUBAE888Z

In truth, very few 'gurus'  make good mentors. Gurus are usually the path-finders but because they can show you the path doesn't mean they can guide you along it. The real problem with internet marketing today is that there are too many 'wanna-be' self-acclaimed gurus who are only too willing to lead you down the garden path instead of the path to happiness and a successful internet business path to reach your destiny!

My suggestion to everyone is to first google them and to find what others have to say. Then take that with a pinch of salt and go to the Warrior Forum to see what your peers have to say about their products or services.

All I'm suggesting is that you take extreme care before you run yourself broke.

Fast Keyword Research

If you ever want a quick way to check the viability of a keyword or two, here's a quick method that works.

Search Google by typing in the keyword phrase you are investigating. Use http://www.seobook.com/ to check the page rank 1 to 10. Then count them up and if it is 30 or below, you should be able to rank for it. If it is 31, use caution and if it's 32 you may be able to do it with a heap of work but if it is over that probably a good idea to go find a better keyword phrase.

This is just a quick guide and you will need to do further due diligence.

Hope it helps :-)

How to Write Better Web Copy

I have recently read an article on how people read on the web. It is interesting to note that in the last five years people's web reading method hasn't changed. The only thing that has changed is how the researchers can better view the intensity with which they now read certain areas of a web page. This is very interesting information for anyone who is a web publisher and writes copy for web pages.

I knew a lot of this from previous studies but I'm going to need to change my style of writing again to accommodate this new intensity and I'm going to have to better optimise my web pages to accommodate some new areas that previously I didn't pay enough attention to and have been missing out 'big time' by leaving spaces where people actually spend more time than I was aware of in their scanning habits.

My writing style for web pages is now going to have to be much more succinct. I have not previously made much use of bulleted lists but it seems that viewers of web pages prefer this style of writing in which to gain information quickly. Previously I have sought to pass information to my readers via a more narrative and entertaining style but it seems this is not what many readers are wanting. It explains a lot to me and answers some questions that I wasn't able to find answers for previously.

So now I know I have two different types of readers to accommodate. I do have readers who really do read the whole page (they are never long and I really do try not to be boring) so I will be making a special section for them under the label of articles and taking them through another door from my main page. This way those who want to scan can and those who want to read will still be able to find a more personalized version of my experiences.

So what do your web pages say about your web site and are you optimized for both types of readers?

Internet Affiliate Programs Based on Bartering

It has been said many times that some of the best things in life are free. The past four days have been a bit of a nightmare for this author. Her computer is set to receive automatic updates and two of the updates had a disagreement and I lost. The computer has been out of action now for four days and I have felt like a seriously deprived child. Am I addicted to the internet? Most likely.

One of my major internet addictions are affiliate programs. But after all the kerfuffle I have had to go through lately only to find precisely what I wanted and to find it was free, I find quite amazing and I'm very grateful. It seems that there are a bunch of internet programers out there in cyberspace who have grouped together to produce open source programs available to all who need them. The only thing they ask is either a donation or a link back to their site. Which I'm more than happy to do because it will be a very useful link for all my visitors and anyone who wants a gold standard product for a coupon price.

But more than that and as grateful as I am, it got me thinking. It's actually a very clever way of marketing. In the old days they may have called it bartering but everyone wins and providing the majority of people are honorable, it will work amazingly well. At least I hope so because I believe these people deserve it.

My Advice is Not to Advise Unnecessarily

So which do you normally give if someone asks you for your advice? If someone thought I could offer some good insight into whatever the question was I would hope that I manage to advise them with some sound advice.

For some reason many people seem to get these two words quite confused. If I am advising someone to take a certain course of action then I am giving them my advice.

I think the easiest way to remember the difference between these two words is to think of them in present and past tense. That is, if I am in the process of doing something now I am advising them. If I advised them yesterday and they believed I gave them sound advice then I would hope they are now following my sound advice.

I was once told by a German friend that English is nonsense and it is the 'language of Geese' but if that was so, it is certainly very good at adopting, absorbing and implementing new words into our vocabulary.

Vocabulary is the foundation of any language and if the language is to grow to incorporate all the new thoughts and emotions along with the emerging technologies that appear every day, any vocabulary has to be 'expandable' enough to be able to absorb coherently all these new words into a language.

So if you were to ask my advice on the adaptability of the English language, I would advise you that there is very few, if any, languages that has the same or similar Latin base that allow the vocabulary found in the English language the ability to grow and incorporate the vocabulary required for 21st Century living.

XsitePro Reviews

I am an XsitePro user for both version 1 and the updated version XsitePro2. My reviews will compare both products and the innovative thinking that Paul Smithson has added into the second version.

Both XsitePro1 and XsitePro2 have been created with affiliate marketers in mind. The XsitePro2 (XSP2) version evolved from the ongoing technological changes occurring on the internet and as affiliate marketers became more savvy and proficient. Both XSP1 and XSP2 are WYSIWYG programmes designed for people who don't know or have never learnt any HTML coding language. Now they don't have to as both products are so user friendly and intuitive and once you have done something 'new' once, you realise how easy things really are once you have actually done it once.

The 'doing' is what makes using both XSP1 & XSP2 so easy to learn. When I first got XSP1 I read the first manual before I watched the videos and I think in retrospect that was the wrong way about. What put me off was the thought of 'placeholders' because I had no idea what they meant. And as I was scared of doing something wrong and damaging the programme, I did nothing with it for months. This was a very bad mistake on my part. A huge mistake! Believe me, don't go there.

So one day after paying another AUD$600.00 to a webmaster I had no respect for I decided I was being absolutely dumb. A right royal idjit!

So I bit the bullet, set the lap top beside me and followed the videos, step by step. It wasn't long before I had my first website published and I was as proud as a rat with a gold tooth. It was so easy once I made up my mind I was going to do and actually sat down and started the 'doing'. That's all it needed was to actually do something with it instead of 'playing' and being too scared of breaking something I didn't understand. I soon learnt the value of those placeholders and what they did.

In the end, both XSP1 and XSP2 are so flaming easy to use that these days all I do now is load her up and whip a website out any time I think I have an hour to spare. It's unbelievably easy.

The extra features built into XSP2 make it easier for affiliate marketers who either want to add a new page to their website or who want to link directly to a vendors website. You can do redirects without having to go to a server to do so. You can do straight linking so that if you are submitting articles to directories and you can't link to an affiliate site you can do so through XSP2. It makes life so much easier.

I can't believe just how comfortable I am now with using XSP2. If someone had said to me 18 months ago that I would be good at making my own websites, I would have asked them if I could have had whatever it was they were on! Now I'm offering you the chance to get on what I'm on and loving every minute on my XSitePro2

Check My Email ~ I'm Drowning in it

Please check my email unsubscribe and stop emailing me. Are we personally better off with having email auto responders so readily available to us all? I find myself during the course of a day flitting betwixt and between email accounts to get login details and verification emails etc and I seem to spend a lot of unproductive time reading emails. So are we really better off now than we were 4 years ago?

The answer I think is yes and no ~the good old 80/20 rule. Yes, it's great being able to get such a fast response but we are also hampered by our own sense of curiosity and obligation. And I for one am getting bogged down with emails from various lists I have joined over time. It's fast getting to the stage where the only way out of this madness is to unsubscribe from all lists!

And in the future to stop being tempted by this and that free eBook. For me, it's got completely out of hand. No more, I have to stop.

When we click on over to whichever email account we have used to get that 'free' eBook that originally interested us, or a verification message we have to respond to, we usually find one or more other emails in there from previous programs we have joined or from friends.

Often from our friends it's just a forwarded joke or message and only sometimes a real email. What they are really saying is "hey I miss you and I think this will brighten your day" and it does. The problem is that it's not just the one email from one friend it can be emails from several friends all doing the same thing and it often turns out to be 3-4 jokes per person. Stop! Please, I'm slowly running out of ticker here like a run-down clock that needs rewinding.

Since someone advocated the use of the bottom half of the thankyou emails we have to send out when someone subscribes to our lists or actually buys a product from us, it's been my downfall. Because these marketers know their stuff and include other products that are in line with my interests/needs I have ended up subscribing to those "free" lists too and three days later, I have an email account or two full of new product launches/can't miss bargains/only ever-chance-to-get products being thrust at me.

Help! I'm drowning under the weight of free eBooks and people's lists. All I wanted was the original information offered in the 'freebie'

The good old unsubscribe link at the bottom of most emails is no guarantee that will be the end of those emails either. It's been my experience that some really well known guru's will try to reactivate their unsubscribed lists periodically and to me, this guarantees I will never subscribe to any of their lists again. It's immoral, unethical and dishonest in my opinion.

So the answer I think is use some discipline, simply get selfish and to activate the verification code, get the freebie and then unsubscribe from the very next email. So I suppose my question that I'm uncomfortable with is simply this: "What's really the point in offering all this free stuff when people are going to take and run?" Because it's the only way I can think to stop this onslaught of email.

PPC Webspy

Every now and then something new comes out that makes your mouth fall open. Well, PPC Webspy did that to me today. So many questions that I wanted answers to but were so time consuming to get suddenly found their answers. All I could say was "WOW! Blimey Charlie...this's going to put the cat amoung the pidgeons"

So I've been digging this morning and I've found gold. I hope you take advantage of this FREEBIE and find your own goldmine. Mind you, if you bought the paid version you would be buying both the gold exchange and the bank vault but that is up to you as to how much gold you can deal with !

Any internet marketer who was serious about their business will find this the "Must Have" tool for doing any PPC campaign.

Money saved is money earned! So why would you want to do something that someone else has already proved doesn't work?

Better still, why not start from the 'get-go' with what is working and build from there? Make sense...well, it's definitely more than cents anyway!
